Your Tasks

  • Overall project management for customer orders
  • Development of project schedules
  • Responsibility for project success (costs, payments, deadlines and quality), as well as control and coordination of the project team and all interfaces
  • Technical and commercial order clarification
  • Commercial controlling of the project, deadline tracking and project reporting
  • Change and claim management
  • Evaluation of opportunities and risks on the basis of the project risk assessment (PRIP)
  • Coordination of escalation management; resolution of conflicts
  • Execution of project reviews and exchange of experience with stakeholders
  • Preparation of the construction site phase as well as site control in close cooperation with the site manager
  • Project control until defect-free handover to customer and after sales service

Your Qualifications

  • Preferably combined technical and commercial education (industrial engineering, mechanical engineering/brewing and business administration or comparable)
  • Several years of professional experience and good knowledge of project management methods and/or technical sales desirable
  • Practical experience as project manager for projects in mechanical and plant engineering, preferably in the food/beverage industry
  • Knowledge of contract law
  • User knowledge of SAP and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word and MS Project)
  • Business fluent English and Spanish, as well as knowledge of another foreign language (preferably German, French, or Portuguese) desirable
  • Goal-oriented and structured way of working plus Ability to work in a team, assertiveness and adequate manners
  • Confident, efficient time management and flexible work assignment according to project requirements
  • Willingness to travel frequently and to spend longer periods abroad (approx. 25%)
