6th Steels in Cars and Trucks 2022 – an event as sustainable as steel itself!

The sixth "International Conference on Steels in Cars and Trucks", SCT2022 in short (SCT2022 - Conference on Steels in Cars and Trucks | Home (sct-2022.com)), took place in Milan, Italy, from June 19 to 23, 2022.

The motto of the event is as sustainable as steel itself:
“Bringing the automotive, supplier and steel industries together.”
“Future trends in steel development, processing technologies and applications“.

Salzgitter AG was represented with eight presentations and an exhibition stand. News was published on the future CO₂-reduced steel production in Salzgitter, hot-rolled and cold-rolled strip products of Salzgitter Flachstahl GmbH, precision tubes of Mannesmann Precision Tubes as well as on the latest state of the art in testing technology.

Direct discussions following the technical sessions and at the exhibition stand confirmed the currency of our presented topics.

With round about 150 presentations spread over 50 specialist sessions and 300 visitors, this event is one of the top events of 2022 and the tradition will be continued - follow us to Sweden in 2025!
