SALZGITTER BSH Hausgeräte GmbH, with brands such as Bosch,
Welcome!
We were actually a little proud to be putting together the “Best of STIL 2016” magazine for you. is was because the Salzgitter Group and its subsidiaries are connected to their interna- tional partners in many ways through products, services and procedures, and this work together never fails to provide us with fascinating stories. e topics include the beer brewers in Carlsberg, Denmark, home appliance specialists at Miele, BSH and Liebherr, and agricultural machinery producer, Claas, among others. Come with us
on a journey to our customers from Africa to Scandinavia.
Particularly in times that see many discussions of what separates us, it makes sense to remem- ber what joins us together. Again and again, it is trade and consequently the exchange of eco- nomic goods that brings people from di erent cultures together for mutual bene ts. We can all also learn a great deal from one another that will help us continue to advance.
In the STIL interview, we spoke to our Chair- man of the Board Prof. Dr.-Ing. Heinz Jörg Fuhrmann about how Salzgitter AG would like to continue to develop. e topics were the suc- cessful restructuring of individual companies, the group’s strategic alignment, and its prospects for the future.
I hope you enjoy your reading!
