Training pays off
The attraction of a large corporate group: Salzgitter AG and its training initiatives
Acompany is only as effective and strong as its employees. Every member of the workforce can initiate success by taking the right decision at the right time.
Smart companies are well aware of this fact and therefore assume considerable responsibility for their workforce. This begins with a target-driven, well-supervised training program, continues later with vocational development measures and health promotion activities, while accompanying employ- ees throughout their career.
Salzgitter AG is well aware of this responsibility and sets benchmarks in training, development and employee support accordingly – after all, success
cannot be sustained without bringing the next gen- eration on board.
One focus of this effort is vocational training and professional development. Michael Kieckbusch, Executive Board member responsible for personnel, places major emphasis on these aspects: “Today’s pupils and students are tomorrow’s employees. Their qualifications and commitment are absolutely decisive for our success as a company.
