region for centuries. While ILG’s
roots reach all the way back to the renaissance era, the company has
been part of today’s Salzgitter AG
since 1992. The company produces heavy plate in 350 different steel grades and in thicknesses ranging from
5 to 175 mm.

New KHS training center
The specialist for filling and packaging systems is extending its training program
TECHNOLOGY An increas- ing number of customers are taking part in courses at the training sites of the Dortmund-based system provider KHS. To date, the company has maintained training facilities in India, Brazil and the USA, as well as at the five German KHS
plants in Dortmund, Kleve, Hamburg, Bad Kreuznach and Worms.
Due to the growing demand, a new 550-square-meter training center has now been established in Bad Kreuznach, and opened its doors to KHS personnel and customers at the end of 2016. A two-
floored complex was built specifically for this purpose in a renovated production hall. While there are offices for the eight in-house training staff on the upper floor, the ground floor houses three training rooms - all featuring advanced, lead- ing-edge technology.
