1977, and the “cool can” has also been available in 33-cl format since 2015.
Even non-experts will notice the hygienic design of the system – it is made almost entirely of stain- less steel. The mixing system is a KHS Innopro Paramix C, for instance – designed specifically
for soft drinks. The same applies to the line's centerpiece: the KHS Innofill Can DVD. Offering full-scale automation, it resembles a carousel that rotates continuously, filling and capping as many as 124 cans per rotation.
The cans then start moving and a conveyor belt transports them to be pasteurized. This step is not necessary for certain other soft drinks. Then the production line is switched over, a process that takes 40 to 90 minutes.
The production changeover is carried out man- ually, but the line itself mainly runs automatically. There are no more than a few employees who add lids to the filling line and monitor all the process- es. Sampling is also carried out manually, complete with chemical checks.
Traveling forward on increasingly wide convey- or belts, the cans progress more and more slowly towards the packaging line, likewise made by KHS and designed to hold different types of container. The cans are bundled onto trays of 24 arranged
in four-by-six format and then stacked back on pallets before being loaded onto the truck for transportation.
Relations between the two business partners were established well before the smooth delivery, installation and commissioning of the canning
Hygiene is a top priority. An employee regularly takes samples and checks for perfection by means of several tests
