The team in the new KHS Asia o ce currently consists of ve local employees, three of whom
are service technicians. Its task is to serve the demand directly at the site now that a well-known drink producer has set up a larger lling system in Myanmar.
Due to the political liberalization and gradual li ing of international econom- ic sanctions, private consumption is growing in Myanmar. is has resulted in a steadily growing demand for capital goods. Volker Geng, Managing Director of KHS Asia, even holds out the prospect of site expansion if there is a demand.
