“MANNESMANN. Tubes” – the Salzgitter Group showcases the “Mannesmann” brand at TUBE

The Salzgitter Group placed the “MANNESMANN. Tubes.“ claim at the heart of its exhibition at TUBE. The “Mannesmann” brand has been synonymous throughout the world for steel tubes of the highest quality for around 130 years.

The Salzgitter Group views TUBE as an important communication platform for interaction with customers and partners. “We have continuously fostered dialog with our customers in recent years”, stated Energy business unit head Clemens Stewing. “In the future, we will be placing increasing importance on our Mannesmann brand that is of inestimable value for our products.” With this in mind, customer events were organized on three evenings at TUBE under the motto “Blue Hour”.

The companies of the Energy business unit offer their customers a wide range of steel tubes and pipes. The product spectrum covers seam- and spiral-welded large-diameter pipes, stainless steel tubes, as well as seamless and welded precision tubes, rounded off by HFI-welded pipes. The most important customer sector is the energy industry, followed by automotive and mechanical and plant engineering industries.

With a tight network of stockholding steel locations in Europe, as well as trading companies and offices spanning the globe, Salzgitter Mannesmann Handel (SMHD) is ensuring the international presence of the Salzgitter Group’s products and services. Moreover, the e-WORLD project and SMHD’s new versatile digital shopping facilities were presented.

The following companies participated in the event: Mannesmannröhren-Werke, Salzgitter Mannesmann Precision, Salzgitter Mannesmann Line Pipe, Salzgitter Mannesmann Stainless Tubes, Salzgitter Mannesmann Großrohr, Salzgitter Mannesmann Grobblech, Salzgitter Mannesmann Handel and EUROPIPE (joint venture between the Salzgitter Group and AG der Dillinger Hüttenwerke).
