Salzgitter AG at Blechexpo 2023

Salzgitter AG is again participating as one of the major exhibitors at this year’s Blechexpo that will take place in Stuttgart from November 7-10, 2023.

The Group and its subsidiaries will be exhibiting in Hall 10, Stand 10412.

#hierpassierts – “A New Way of Thinking for a New Industry” is this year’s motto. The motto references the transformation process of Salzgitter AG that, with SALCOS® | Salzgitter AG, is pioneering the journey to virtually carbon neutral steel production.

As part of our “Pioneering for Circular Solutions” vision, we will be using the m2-Waggon to provide an insight into a ground-breaking logistics concept aimed at the practical implementation of closed material cycles. This innovation allows coils and the resulting scrap to be combined on one freight wagon, thereby enabling economically and ecologically efficient transportation. Salzgitter Flachstahl will showcase a unique system here for implementing the circular economy in steel production that will have a far-reaching impact on the sector.

Along with Salzgitter Flachstahl, Salzgitter Mannesmann Stahlservice and the Salzgitter Group’s trading companies will also be exhibiting.
