Salzgitter AG with new Executive Board members

Supervisory Board appoints Hans Fischer and Heinz Groschke

In its meeting on December 15, 2005, the Supervisory Board of Salzgitter AG appointed Dipl. Ing. Hans Fischer (49) and Heinz Groschke as new members of the Executive Board as of January 1, 2006.

Hans Fischer will be responsible for the Steel Division and Heinz Groschke for the Trading Division. Both members have acted as executive managers of Salzgitter AG since April 2005 and previously held a number of managerial positions within the Group.

As of January 1, 2006, the Executive Board of Salzgitter AG will consist of six members:Wolfgang Leese (Chairman), Wolfgang Eging (Tubes), Hans Fischer (Steel), Dr. Heinz Jörg Fuhrmann (Finance), Heinz Groschke (Trading) and Peter-Jürgen Schneider (Personnel).
