33 litres of blood for a good cause: successful blood drive at the head office

This year's blood donation campaign at the Salzgitter head office was a great success. 67 employees took part and made an important contribution. Around 14,000 blood donations are needed in Germany every day, for example for emergencies, cancer therapies, operations and immune diseases (source: German Red Cross).

We are particularly pleased that seven employees took part in the campaign for the first time this year. A total of around 33 litres of blood was donated. This is a small but significant contribution. A big thank you to everyone who got involved and supported the campaign!
