Tobi Krell, known from ‘Checker Tobi’, came live to the Audimax of the TU Braunschweig on Saturday with his interactive hands-on show. The completely sold-out event for children and families provided a lot of interesting information on the topics of sustainability and the future. The kids were actively involved and learned, for example, what climate is and what the greenhouse effect is all about. Host Tobi Krell also provided exciting behind-the-scenes insights into how his films are made.

The event was rounded off by an Salzgitter AG ice cream stand and a Minecraft stand. Here, children were able to explore the steelworks after the transformation in a playful way on the PC. ‘We at the Salzgitter Group are in the middle of the transformation to climate-neutral steel production. The topics of the interactive show, sustainability and the future, are exactly in line with our ambitions, so we are pleased to be able to support a format like Checker Tobi,’ says Natalie Stecula (Corporate Communication & Brand).
