Salzgitter AG Student Dragon Boat Cup 2024

This year, the 14th Salzgitter AG School Dragon Boat Cup took place at the marina of the Salzgittersee lake. As a sponsor of the Cup, we were particularly thrilled to see how the 25 school teams from our region competed vigorously and impressively in exciting races, demonstrating their skills.
The students of the Grammar School Salzgitter-Bad secured first place with their team ‘Captain Peter und die Leichtmatrosen’. Second place went to the team ‘Die Süllränder’ from the Kranich Grammar School Salzgitter, while third place went to the ‘Fischermans Friends 2’ from the Grammar School Salzgitter-Bad. The final was particularly exciting, as the difference between first and second place was only 0.62 seconds!
A big thank you goes to all the helpers and to the participating schools and classes who made this exciting day possible. We are already looking forward to the Dragon Boat Cup 2025 with thrilling races and impressive team performances.
